Meet Your Webinar Hosts
Dr. B (Will Bulsiewicz, MD, MSCI) is a respected clinician and the recipient of numerous awards. At Northwestern, he received the prestigious Rambach Award, was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, and was Chief Medical Resident. At UNC, he once again received the highest clinical award given by the program and was Chief Gastroenterology Fellow.

He has given more than 40 presentations at national meetings. He also did an epidemiology fellowship at the world renowned UNC - Gillings School of Global Public Health and received a prestigious grant from the National Institutes of Health. He is in clinical practice at Lowcountry Gastroenterology in Charleston, SC.

Cyrus Khambatta, PhD was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2002. He received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 2003, and then earned a PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry from the University of California at Berkeley in 2012.

For the past decade, he has have been educating people with type 1 diabetes, type 1.5 diabetes, prediabetes, and type 2 diabetes how to reduce reverse insulin resistance through diet an exercise, following a evidence-based protocol that has helped thousands of people around the world achieve exceptional health.

Cyrus has more than 15 years of experience living with type 1 diabetes, and more than 14 years of experience living a low-fat, plant-based, whole-food lifestyle. He has been able to maintain A1c values between 5.4%-6.0% with excellent cardiovascular, athletic, and emotional health. 

Robby Barbaro, Mindful Diabetic, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 12 and has been living a low-fat, plant-based, whole-food lifestyle since 2006. He graduated from the University of Florida, and is a cofounder of Mastering Diabetes. He worked at Forks Over Knives for 6 years before deciding to coach people with diabetes to exceptional health.
